THE JOURNEY

We start with a free, no obligation consultation.  We work closely with you to develop your goals and objectives and to select the right project type for your needs. In order to do this, you will be asked what your goals are, what you know about the individual(s) you would like researched and what you would like to know.

Once the project type is agreed to payment will be required prior to research beginning. A variety of sources will be used to fulfill the project: data bases, archives, newspapers, books and research specialists.

You will be presented with a report of all of the findings, as well as copies of all documents we were able to locate and an explanation of the findings.

RECORD LOOKUP

Use our record look-ups service to get copies of birth, marriage and death records from  the Caribbean, Canada or the United States!  We will help find your ancestors in any of the millions of records available throughout the world. Pricing depends on the average time required to locate, scan and email a document.  Hard copies of records can be sent via traditional mail service at additional cost.

MINI RESEARCH PROJECT (4 hours)

This research package is designed for customers who want to focus on a specific ancestor. If you want more complete family tree, choose a larger research project.We will search as many records as possible in the time allowed to accomplish your research goal. Additional hours can be purchased.

BASIC RESEARCH PROJECT (10 hours)

Since only ten research hours are devoted to this project, we will focus on documenting one or two of your ancestors. It may be possible to identify additional family members time permitting. We will search multiple record sources to accomplish your research goals. Additional hours can be purchased.

STANDARD RESEARCH PROJECT (15 hours)

This research package allows a researcher to work on more than one branch of your family tree, gathering essential historical and biographical facts about your ancestors from available record sources. This size project is excellent for documenting a family tree. Additional hours can be purchased.

STANDARD PLUS RESEARCH PROJECT

This research package allows a researcher to add more time to a standard project. This is a good choice if you want us to focus on a branch of a family that others have tried and failed to extend to the next generation. This project would be a perfect choice if you need to find the birth place or residence of an ancestor. Purchase this option and one bonus hour will be added to your account! Additional hours can be purchased.

EXPANDED RESEARCH PROJECT (25 hours)

This research package allows a researcher to work on more than one branch of your family tree, gathering essential historical and biographical facts about your ancestors from available record sources. This size project is excellent for tracing parts of a family tree possibly beyond four generations. Additional hours can be purchased.

EXTENSIVE RESEARCH PROJECT (30 hours)

This project allows a researcher to dig for lesser-known facts and work on four or five family lines. Those who want to trace the foreign born or document their line of descent for a lineage society would choose this project. Purchase this option and three bonus hours will be added to your account!

ADDITIONAL HOURS

Choose the number of research hours you want to add to a research project or payment plan. If you are contributing to a joint family project, be sure to enter the account number of the administrator of the project. You can order up to 60 additional hours. Dependent on the project a discounted hour rate may apply.
